A Currier & Ives scene with a a log cabin, a Mother with a child in front,, a father come home carrying a rifle with one boy walking besides him, a donkey and another child point the way home. The plate is decorated with a thin gold tone line on the wavy rim. The plate comes with a hanger, measures 7 1/2 in. dia. and is in very good condition.
